Introduction

When it accumulates, it becomes illness. Take control of unwanted age-related weight! Dr. Chae, Yong-Hyun of YONSEI SaeBom Medical Clinic appears on Live Today.

The reason diets keep failing was here. Hormone-clinic doctor and trainer Dr. Chae, Yong-Hyun talks about hormones: what makes a successful diet?

Age-related weight is a concern in middle age. We diet as we watch fat increase around the abdomen, thighs, buttocks and arms, but this weight is not easy to lose. It is a warning signal for health. Increasing fat can even lead to metabolic syndrome, and concerns grow with it. One important reason this weight does not come off is said to be decreasing growth hormone. As growth hormone declines, weight loss becomes harder. What does growth hormone do?

Growth hormone is described as increasing muscle and reducing fat. It is said to be particularly helpful in reducing abdominal fat, and thereby in losing age-related weight.

Regular exercise and sufficient sleep are the foundation for increasing growth hormone, and above all, adequate protein intake is said to be important. Hormonal balance matters most.
